  They supposedly match the best exchange rates for travel money with any other bureau within 5 miles. This was confirmed over the phone prior to going in. However when I got there I was told they wouldn't match it because the other bureau wasn't open at the time. Just shocking!

  I visited yesterday with my wife who is in a wheelchair. We couldn't gain access to the disabled loo and a very helpful staff member saw my wife's distress and immediately intervened and took my wife through to the normal ladies loo and stayed with her throughout for reassurance. This was service well above and beyond and we are so grateful for this personal customer care. Had a query before we left about returning a duplicate birthday card and the customer service lady was also a delight (we chatted about my son who is a Dr at Clatterbridge). We are not locals (live in Ainsdale) but will certainly return to this store each time we visit our son. Many many thanks, you really are Stars!

  Good ASDA following their successful formula. Plenty of parking including for blue badge holders as well as parent & child. Convenient cash machines situated outside. Fuel station close by with friendly and very helpful staff. It's a popular service station and can get very busy, leading to some delays, but the competitive pricing assures popularity. Never had anything but polite, pleasant, and efficient customer services.
