  In the main there are excellent, hardworking staff but they are under immense pressure at the moment - the hospital has revamped some areas such as the reception/entrance & the children/women's departments but areas such as the outpatient clinics are in desperate need of modernising - not very likely in the current financial environment.

  I have been here more than several time for broken bones and they have done a sterling job 95% of the time no complaints. This is where it ends, ATM I'm suspicious that they failed to diagnose Dementia which was present on a brain scan performed in 2008. A diagnosis was performed in 2014 of Vascular Dementia. That's 6yrs of lost treatment and follow ups. A complaint is currently ongoing so I cant say much more till its concluded. Lack of communication? Medical negligence? whatever it is it denied my Mum treatment that is available to slow the condition down. As no one diagnosed it back in 2008 mum continued her routine which involved driving a car, this would explain the odd scuff which would appear from time to time, I told her to go the opticians, if we had only knew. Thankfully no one ever got hurt.
